Youth

The youth of today are the adults of tomorrow, and the things they learn now will help them to become closer to God in the future. If you would like to see pictures of youth events or read more please check out our group on facebook.

 

If you are a high school aged youth and are interested in leading others and helping plan conference and district youth events please consider signing up for CCYM (Conference Council on Youth Ministries). Please contact Tammy Shelton (one of the district youth coordinators) at (573)445-7329 for more information. You can also view more information and print off the proper forms at the CCYM page on the Conference website.

 

Chrysalis is just one of the many great high school and college age Christian retreats that are offered. In order to attend you will need to have a sponsor who has either been on a flight, walk, journey, or flourney. If you are interested in receiving more information please talk to Pastor Loren Whetsell. Information is also available on the Chrysalis website.

 

This summer there are many opportunities to attend Church camp at any of the Methodist camps around the state. To receive an informational booklet please contact the church office before or after service or during their other office hours. You can register for camps and get additional information online. There are scholarships available for those who need them; the church also always pays for half the cost of the camp.
